Glamrocks can be assembled into different shapes using a single component, a foundation stone.
”You can build large or small and create various exciting forms based on both functional and aesthetic needs. I see similarities with how insects and animals build nests in nature. And that's really what we humans are doing all the time too, isn't it? Creating better conditions for survival and well-being in the future, I think it's a nice great symbolism”, says Lisa Hilland.
Glamrocks are manufactured by in Småland, from Swedish raw metal that consists of partly recycled material. The metal reflects the light that plays in the sculptural forms and highlights enhancing the material's beautiful properties natural beauty and character in the best way. The lighting series is designed to last for generations, but once the life cycle is over, the material can easily be reused again in new metal production.
